Turo Car Rental at Charleston Airport (CHS): How Delivery Works

• The car is staged before you land. We deliver ahead of your scheduled arrival, so an on-time flight never waits on the car.
• You get the exact parking location in the Turo app. The message includes where the car is parked and how to get to it from baggage claim. CHS is a small airport; the walk is short.
• Check in on your phone. Turo asks for a few photos of the car at the start of the trip. Take them. They protect you as much as they protect the host.
• Unlock and go. Keys are handled per the host's instructions in the app. Then it's a straight shot down I-526 to Mount Pleasant, downtown, or the beaches.

What airport delivery costs, and when it's free

Why the split? Delivering a car to the airport and getting back to Mount Pleasant costs us real time and an Uber ride, twice per trip. On a five-day booking that cost spreads thin enough that we'd rather waive it. If you're on the fence between a 4-day and a 5-day rental, the fifth day is often close to free once the delivery fee drops off.
