Quinton Heck is the founder and operator of QUSE Cars, Charleston's top-rated Turo car rental fleet — twelve vehicles, more than 470 trips, and a 5.0 rating built one spotless car at a time from Mount Pleasant, South Carolina.

Before the cars, it was ships. Quinton graduated from the United States Merchant Marine Academy at Kings Point in 2022 and spent five years sailing as a marine engineer — the person responsible for keeping an engine room running in the middle of the ocean, where "call a mechanic" is not an option. That's where the QUSE standard comes from: preventive maintenance isn't a chore, it's a religion. Every vehicle in the fleet is maintained and detailed before every single trip by the same hands that kept ships moving.

The business started as a side hobby in 2023 — one car listed on Turo between voyages. The car performed, so he bought another. Then another. What began as a sailor's side project grew car by car into a real operation, and on January 1, 2026, QUSE Cars became an official LLC. Today Quinton runs the fleet full-time: a lineup that spans a 52-MPG Corolla Hybrid to a Porsche Macan, an in-house detailing operation, and delivery to Charleston International Airport — all of it bookable in one click on his Turo profile, where he holds All-Star Host status, Turo's highest tier, four years running.

Through every chapter — high school, Kings Point, five years at sea, and now the fleet — there's been one constant: his wife Logan. High-school sweethearts since 2013, they've built this Charleston life together, and if a QUSE car shows up looking better than it has any right to, there's a decent chance she had opinions on it.

Quinton also documents the business — the wins, the breakdowns, the numbers — on his YouTube channel, @quintonheck, where he shares what it actually takes to build a car rental fleet from scratch.

But mostly? He's probably in the lot, detailing a car that's already clean.

Quinton's favorite car in the fleet? The truck. Every time.
